About the Topic:
Students will present and demonstrate their projects in the IIT VoIP Research Lab. This semester their projects include:
- Click-to-talk additions to the Voice over IIT telephone service
- Development of Automated web-based remote testing of the Diameter Interfaces of IMS functional elements
- Development of Unified Communications applications using Microsoft Server
- Performance prediction and analysis of IMS functional elements
- Quaity of service predictions using proactive distributed testing tool
- Study and development of Call Detail Records for SIP network elements
- Study and development of Network Management systems for SIP-enabled networks
Start with coffee, tea and refreshments outside the VoIP Lab where students will be standing by to discuss posters that describe key aspects of their work. At 7 PM we will move into Room 236 where students will give 15 minute presentations of their work, including their goals, lab configurations and current results. At 8:30 we will move into the VoIP Lab, Room 255, where you can view demonstrations of the projects as well as tour the lab and see its new acquisitions.
Continuing Eduction credits for Professional Engineers are available for this event.
